For now I will have to say the best kung fu / wushu / shaolin shoes would have to be the popular Feiyue kung fu shoes. These shoes have been worn by many martial artists and among the modern and traditional circles these are the most reputable and commonly worn kung fu shoe.

The other best known kung fu shoes that most people might try to find or look for are the Chinese traditional kung fu shoes. They are sometimes refered to as "kung fu" or "Tai Chi" shoes. They are made with thick almost 3/4 inch hand threaded flat Cotton sole. These shoes are soft, comfortable and very light weight. The most important is all parts of these shoes are made of Cotton.
